"I don't believe in long artist's statements. The paintings speak for themselves better than anything I could say... I only paint things for which I have a strong emotional attraction. I have always been drawn to cityscape painting and I have always been fascinated with rain - but my work is always about social interactions. I am interested in relationships, in how people relate differently to each other in various situations. So, I paint people, rain, street scenes, men and women, love, loneliness and happiness... And I cannot remember a time when I did not want to draw or paint. I paint a lot!"
| Sasha is a full-time professional Canadian artist. She was born and studied art in Ukraine, but her professional career began far away from home. Throughout her travels around France, Spain, Italy and Middle East, together with her husband Michael Rozenvain, Sasha gathered inspiration which she brought into her works of art. In the recent years, Sasha worked exclusively for A&E Art, selling her works in various galleries in the USA and Europe and participating in ART EXPO and other shows. Now Sasha lives in Thornhill, Ontario, where she works from home, sharing studio with her husband Michael. |
